I keep paperwork from almost everything. I spent a few hours shredding shit a couple of days ago. Man, the memories some of that old paperwork brought back. Hundreds of checkbook duplicates, divorce papers from 1977, California drivers license, bunch of letters from prison some of my buddies sent decades ago. A whole big garbage bag full.

you know I'm kidding. Went through my uncles condo after he moved into a home. Check books, tax returns, etc. from his 'partner' who passed away 25 years earlier. Along with a lot of other really old stuff. What really gets me is when they sold their house to buy the condo they left a 1911 .45 somewhere in the house. They couldn't remember where they hid it.
We were up in Mackinaw City for the week. Did the island thing, the Soo locks and the falls. You know the usual tourist 'fudgey' stuff. Weather was good, nice to get away from here for a week.
