Default My “new” project 67

I haven’t posted here in years. Stumbled across it and thought I’d give an update. About 9 years ago I traded my 70 for a 67 that was in the middle of a frame off. Basically brought it home in a basket. Been chipping away at it on and off as time, money and ambition allows.

I built a 6.0LS. LS2 intake, LS6 cam, ported heads. Full stainless exhaust from the header bolts to the tips. (MagnaFlow with X) 4L60 trans & 3:36 posi rear. Hoping for 400+ hp & 20mpg

I have had the motor in place and running for 4 years. Just this past fall I finally got around to putting the interior in it from the carpet to the headliner. I made a digital dash for it as well. 3 point Morris belts front and rear.

Suspension has all tubular control arms front and rear, tall ball joints, 4 wheel disc brakes. 18” wheels with 235 & 275 rubber.

I’m getting closer, I actually just got the brakes bled last week and drove it for the first time since I’ve owned it. No windshield or rear window. 😀. I’ve met one of my goals of doing a burnout from 20mph. Lol

Anyway, here are some pictures to get up to speed.
