Definitely could have been worse. I just wish he lived a little closer. He's going to be 70 this summer. He lives close to my great-aunt who is going to be 98 this summer. He keeps an eye on her, but it's getting to the point where he needs someone to keep an eye on him. He's starting to worry about things that shouldn't really bother him that much. I don't think he has the self-confidence he once had, he realizes he's getting old.
Just an example, he want's Lynda to go shopping with him to pick out new counter tops and flooring for his kitchen, he doesn't trust his own judgment. That's ok, Lynda will have fun spending his money for him.
