I rented a pacifica once. Will say it was roomy and made a long cruise pretty comfortable.

I dont understand why they are stopping production on a car that sold so well. I like them but dont want to own another Chrysler product as Ive had bad luck with the 2 we have owened. The ones we owned were Sebring convertibles and had lots of electrical issues and no mechanic around would work on them. The dealerships wanted $90 per hour to work on them so #1 was driven across the scales and sold for scrap . #2 was sold to a mechanic for his personal use and he spent a fortune on it to get it to pass emissions. I like the looks of the Pacificas but dont want to chance it with another lemon.

Funny how everyone gets a bad taste in their mouth for a certain product. I ran a Pontiac-Cadillac dealership in the 80s and some of the crap we sold really turned me off on GM cars We have only owned Chrysler-Jeep products for the past 22 years. Corvettes don't count.

Working in a new car dealership you would see the worst. They've all had issues over the years but once you get burned it's hard to go back.

PT Cruiser hasn't changed in 10 years. If Chrysler had made improvements and changes it might still be a good seller. I mean really, a car that size, 4 cyl, 4 speed auto and only gets 24 mpg highway? There are pickup trucks out there that can compete with that.

What, no more giant picnic baskets with wheels (PT convertible), and hearses for midgets (regular PT)? Damn...
