Default Fun today

Well today my younger son is officially 5 years old. We had his party with friends over the weekend, and that was cool, but today we're going to this place called Blue Bayou/Dixie Landin' to play all day. It is a water park with slides and tube rides and an amusement park with coasters and rides.

The forecast is on our side, calling for high 90s and sunshine all day...we're bringing the spf 60 so we don't look like lobsters when we get home.

This will be a memorable birthday. 5 is a big year in our family. We try to do it big when our kids hit the 5 year mark.

Sounds like a fun day. Yes, plenty of sunscreen. You want to remember the day because it was fun, not because of the sunburn you got.

Hope you had fun Jake, sounds like a cool place.

I took my kids to a campground/resort over the weekend about an hour from home. The kids had so much fun that I decided to put money down on a permanent spot at this place, and I will either buy a trailer there to put on it, or have one brought in.

As Gary said, these days go fast and you dont get them back. When I saw how much the kids enjoyed it, I decided its something I want for them more often. I cant say as though I hadnt been thinking about it for some time anyways, but this sealed it for me
