Default Need your advice my friends.(serious thread)

Life has been pure hell for me the last 2 days. Long story short during the remodeling project in my garage I accidentely let the wifes cat out without my knowing, and we have yet to find him .He was spotted this afternoon and being Maureen can't walk much,I took 2 guys from the store and 2 of my friends and we searched until 700:,nothing.She is really upset and pissed at me and with what's going on with her healthwise right now it put her over the edge.My question is what do I do about my annual 3 day weekend at Fall Carlisle? Not only is this my last get together until Spring with some friends,I had some expensive parts coming that I wanted to inspect in person. What say you, guys?

If it were me.....I'd stay & look for the cat. My wife would never let me hear the end of it, if I went out of town & the cat was never found.

Trap a racoon and spray paint it the color of your wife's cat then , assuming your wife wears glasses, rub a thin film of soap over her lenses .... on the way out the door place the "cat" on the wife's lap and say Adios for the weekend.... no guareentees on if this will work or not but considerering you are in deep do-do you gotta try everything.

Stay and look for the cat, see if a friend can get your parts for you. Your wife and her health is the most important thing to worry about now, the car will wait and spring Carlisle is a few months away.

Oh man, that was funny. Gary, we can only get so serious, this is the internet.

You need to find the cat, bud. Even if you have to miss part of the weekend. Tell Maureen that you're going to find the cat, but you're going after that.

Keep looking for the cat, maybe you will get lucky and still get to go. Your wife will know you are putting her first over your own agenda. Tough break on timing. Good luck on our search.
