Default Do you carry a Pocket knife ?

How many of you folks carry a pocket knife. I don't carry one much, anymore, but have several. How bout posting a pic of yours and telling us why you like it.

My favorite is an older Parker. I'll post a pic of it tomorrow.

Pocket Knives chaff my inner thighs! .... but I always wondered why a modern day person would carry a knife, I dont mean a pocket knife but a strapon like a Buck Knife ... any cop could fill em full of lead and be justified (sorta) because the guy was carrying a knife ......

but I regress, I used to do work for Buck Knives when they were in ElCajon, CA and could usually get my pick of knives for free ..... I passed!

It may sound odd but one of the few things I have from my great grandfather is his hanky's. I would guess they are from the 40's.

As for why would one carry a knife well thats a debate I will leave to another thread.

Not really. It's legal to carry a gun here with no permit as long as it's not concealed.

I have a pocket knife on the dresser, I use to carry it a lot but not very often now.

I carry a pocket knife every day... I have since middle-school. Never even thought of it as a "weapon", it's always been a "tool"

My current one is a swiss-army knife with a bunch of stuff on it, screwdrivers, knives, sawblade, bottle opener, file, pick, scissors, etc. I use the scissors more than anything else, and that's just to trim my fingernails. I just had to buy a new one because I lost my old one. The old one belonged to the previous owner of my '69 SS car... he left it in there.

I carry a Ruger LCP .380 in my other pocket.

I am not talking about the average joe (or grandpa carrying a pocket knife thats their business, I am referring to someone strapping some big blade on their hip with not practical use other than a weapon .... and maybe, due to the gun laws, it is common in my state, plus it seems the ones that most do it are probably ex-cons

Like I said earlier, it puts the carrier in a position that can result in no good ... especially in a police interface.
