Default Anyone Like Shiney Tires?

Anyone here try a new product by Turtle wax called Tire black?
It comes in a spray can. If you like the look of shiney tires this is the sh#@t.
It's like putting a coat of clear on the tires. I'm not sure if I like it or not. I decided to buy some and try it on the Chevelle. The tires have a real glossy look to them that's for sure. It's suppose to last for weeks. I'm guessing that would be for a daily driver. As far as the Chevelle goes, this stuff could last me all summer (one application)! Here's a you tube demo:

I guess my only thing on spray on tire shine is some of them have a "gook" that seems to stay on the tire. You will have to let us know how this stuff works. Sounds like it might be something that would save a lot of time. Where did you get it ?

I bought mine from Meijer $11.99, I've have seen it at Autozone, Advance Auto and Napa. My tires are really glossy. It looks like a clear coat. Once it's dry, there is no flinging of excess. I would recommend putting it on BEFORE you detail your car. I covered my rims using an air cleaner from a 90's chevy truck. I put a 5" bolt in the center for a handle. There are rim shields on the market now for this purpose. I did the air cleaner thing long before they came out. I should of marketed them. I'd be sitting good right now $$.

I want to try it on Joans Sport Trac on all that dull plastic trim ,Back To Black works good on it but does not last very long.

I think if Turtle wax came out with a satin or semi-gloss it would be a big seller.

I like the idea of using the air cleaner, good idea! Still not sure how shiny I want. I want to see it in person so may have to try it.

I'm not a fan of shiny tires. To me, it looks like I'm trying to sell it at a used car lot. I've seen lots of shiny, bald tires at the local lot and that's the first thing that pops in my head when I see them. ..."What are you trying to hide?"
