Default I survived the Winter Classic!

13* at the start of the game. Snow never stopped, they were shoveling the rink off 2.5 minutes into the game. 105,000 people didn't do much to warm things up. From the time we parked until we got back in my son's pickup we were outside close to 6 hours.

It was worth it though, my son really wanted to go last year but the lockout canceled that and he really wanted go this year. We got to be part of the largest crowd ever to watch a hockey game and there will never be a larger one. Unless they hold the Winter Classic at the Big House again because there isn't another stadium in the country as large.

My toes got hold in the 3rd period but I'm glad we went.

Oh yeah....I remember a few years ago my son and I want to the 1st Winter Classic game.
Sabres vs. Penguins held at Ralph Wilson Stadium (Bills home field) in western NY.

We were listening to the weather/road reports on our way out of Downtown yesterday. They were talking about how usually at that type of game, even with the score so close, that people will usually leave during the 3rd period. But not this game. People were not leaving.

It had to be an awesome experience. Just being in the Big House is impressive enough. But to be a part of history is so cool. Did they verify the attendence ?
