Default Looks like it is my turn.

It looks like this upcoming week will be the week that I get my car out of storage. I texted my brother Eric because he will the one that will go with me and he will be installing the mufflers when I get it out. He said that later this week his garage will be empty and ready for my car. With all the warm weather that has been teasing us lately I am hoping that by the end of the week the rain will go away and I can have at least a couple of days of nice weather.

I can't wait to get the Dynomax VT mufflers installed..

New exhaust tips installed..

And I might have to wait on the seat covers...

I CAN'T WAIT !!!!

Of course it's my turn. To wait another week. For the past few days I have been trying to coordinate getting my car out of storage. But...it just didn't pan out. Looks like the soonest that I will be able to get it is on Wednesday. They don't have people there late tomorrow because it is good Friday. Besides my brother needs to get his garage cleaned up and do some work to his daily driver.

The waiting conitinues.....

I got my car out of storage a few weeks back and took it directly to my brothers garage. He was to do the seats and install the exhaust. But in the past two weeks he was offered an unbelievable job. He works long hours and is making almost twice what he was before so now he can afford to do his own project Truck and stop working on other peoples cars. Fortunately for me he was able to install the new seat vinyls and a couple of other things for me but I am going to have to go to a muffler shop to have them install the mufflers which is OK.

I went and picked my car up tonight from my brothers house. It was the first time that I had seen the seats in person....they look really cool. He did a great job !! My only concern was that they sat up a lot, and I mean a lot more than before. I had the bottom springs replaced and he showed me how bad the old ones were and why the seats seemed to sag. So I finally slid in behind the wheel and put the seat belt on.....and it was still loose. It may not seem like a big deal to some people, and I am not a vain girly girl, but I was almost relieved that I fit the seat belt and had plenty of room. And the best part was that they had a lot more support and held me in the seat better.

I was so excited to have my car back that I didn't even look at the gas gauge. lol I was checking every other gauge but I think that I was about 5 miles from home and realized I was on empty and I better find a gas station quickly. Luckily I was right around the corner from one and pulled in. Don't want to have that happen again. lol

I had some posted on Facebook. But for now you will have to wait a couple of days til I pull my car out of the garage. It is supposed to rain tonight and tomorrow, but Thursday is looking like a good day to pull it out and clean her up. I will take some pics then. I really like the way that they look in the car. Especially since they match the back seats.
