Default Squatters!

These two have taken up residence in the back yard. See them every day lying under the trees in our yard or the neighbors. They've been hanging out for around a month now. Only seen a doe with them once so I assume the mom is no longer, probably hit by a car. Funny thing is there was always 1 or 2 small herds passing through the yards, 6 to 8 deer. Haven't seen any adults, except the one doe, since the fawns moved in.

They are kind of cute, and really have no fear of humans or the dog. We do hook her to a cable run when we let her out. The adult deer, that's another story. They eat everything and anything. We have to spray all the plants and flowers with repellant so they don't eat them. And our dumb shit neighbors put out feed for them so they keep coming around.

Beautiful creatures but they can cause a lot of damage.

I should have got some pictures last week when we were at my son's house. Him and I were putting up cove molding in the bedroom. Lynda was in the backyard cleaning up one of the flower beds. I walked past the window and see her sitting on the ground. About 4' behind her is a crane that was probably 4' tall and he's slowing inching his way towards her. I knocked on the window and pointed and she shooed him away. There were 2 cranes and they hung out back there most of the day.
