Default Who's done their 2009 taxes?

Just did a first pass on mine, not too bad. I actually get $197 back from the federal gov and only have to pay $35 to the state. Had to file short form again, last year was the first year for short form. Just don't have enough in mortgage interest and property taxes to itemize any longer. Oh well, least I don't have to pay this year.

I've had to pay the last few years. I do a first pass in Feb so I'll know how much I have to pay but don't pay until April.

My wife just finished doing ours today.
We must be paying more in than what we need to. Cah Ching $$refund!!!The wife is thinking of ways to spend it already. The fact that my son was in college for a short time last year helped us out..........ALOT.

I haven't had to file for a long time (all my income is non-taxable) until I moved to NC. Now to 'prove' to NC that I'm State Tax exempt, I HAVE to file a Federal Return, with all Zeros mind you, THEN file a State Return, again with Zeros (actually a negative number after my Standard Deduction) thus 'proving' to them it's legit! What a waste of time and paper and stamps!

They are in the works. We might actually have a dollar or two coming our way this year.
