Default Starting to get antsy

Supposed to be nice all week. Can't put the rear end on the Chevelle back together, waiting for the new control arms and bushings to arrive. Can't pull the dash out to repaint and install the gauge package I have. We have a pole right in the middle of our 2 car garage so I can't open either door all the way. Need to pull the car out and back it in. Car is all the way to the front of the garage so I can work on the rear end, so I can't do much under the hood. Sure hope those control arms show up soon.

I hear ya, Last week I decided to see if mine would start after sitting all winter. It fired right up. first time in years I've been able to do that in the spring. Now I just need to get some insurance back on it so I can drive it.

Got the rear end out of mine too... swapping the 12-bolt 4.10 for a 9" 3.50, installing the new Helwig chassis-mount rear sway bar, and some single-adjustable Alston Varishocks.

Today is a beautiful day, and I'm home sick... puked 3 times last night, and my stomach still hurts. My 2yo son puked 5 times, but he seems to be over it already.

I drove mine to go do some estimates too

I've found the car is a great conversation piece and gets people to open up a bit and realize that as a contractor I am not just out to screw them, I have a human side too.

Oh man!! I hear you Hank, I'm getting antsy with mine too. Things just keep getting in the way of finishing this cam swap I'm in the middle of. Too bad they don't sell patience at the parts store.

Always at least one southern guy that has to do that to us northern guys.

This week would definitely be a good one to have the car out. Our garage is a standard 2 car, not a lot of room in there. Just can't get motivated to go work on the car when it's cold and gray outside. Once you can open the doors and be comfortable it's time to get going.

EDIT: Derek, hope you're feeling better soon.

Feeling much better today Must have been something we ate...

I should be able to get the rear axle painted and ready to put in this weekend, and hopefully be able to drive the car in a couple weeks.
