My son came over a couple of nights ago and told me his neighbor who had run a salvage business had come across hard times and is parting with some of his stuff.
So we went over to see what he might have of interest which I was sure would be something. He had already sold some of the stuff when we got there but did have a 396 (complete) and a M22 he'd sell me for 600.00 My son bought a 396 also. I had a spare 396 block under the bench before.....but I figured you can never get enough 396 blocks,(especially since this one has the number showing it to be a 1969).....they aren't making anymore of them.

Steve, did you get the M22 too? That is a good buy.

My son and I bought his last 2 396's.
