Default It's June and ....

....we're sitting in the family room with a fire going in the fire place. That may not be usual for those in CA but I don't ever remember having a fire in June. Was only around 65 a few hours ago, started raining, getting a little cool in the house so what the heck.

Of course it was 90 in May and suppose to be close to 90 over the weekend. Pretty weird weather the last year or two.

Welcome to Michigan, if you don't like the weather wait a few hours and it will change.

From what I hear it will warm up some time this summer and we will have a dry fall. If they keep saying that they have to be right some day. Famous words around here it's going to be another 24 hours. I been hearing that for a month now. We have had 7.59 inches of rain since May 1st, and June is already 759 percent above normal for the month. More rain tonight again.

Heat index was 106° today. Temperature was in the mid 90s with plenty of sticky and still deep south humidity.

Cool and wet here as well, which is great considering I laid 2000 square feet of new sod over the weekend. Saving me money on my water bill since I dont have to water it and its getting a good healthy deep soak right now. Now a few days of sun with some scattered showers should really make it take off and root well.

I like it cool, and sometimes cold. Hate the humidity!
