Default Looks like real unrestored ss.

Funtional cowel hood.Can see vacume thing under hood.Round guage cluster.Paint looks oe with ss stripes faded out.Could be a cool project.

Probably is a real SS. It's been sitting a long time and not that many people were cloning them back them.

I didnt think the flapper was functional on the 71s and 72s .... am I wrong?

Good price if it is an SS. It looks like it is from what I see. Looks like it had black stripes on it just below the rear window trim. Heck $4000 or offer and it runs, what a deal.

It was an option on 70, 71, and 72. Cowl hood, no flapper, was standard with SS all 3 years.

Hard to believe a car in that shape is a deal at 4k when I used to pick em up for less than a grand.Just goes to show how things have changed.If I could Id get it.From the looks of the engin bay may still have original engin.Only mod Id do is stroke it to 383 and install a b&m shift kit.The ac is an option I dont see too often on those either.Although the lack of power brakes makes me wonder.Was power disk brakes an option on the ss?My non ss 71 had non power drums and I had to convert it.

Supposedly all SS models from 69 on came with single piston front disc brakes. I would assume that all factory disc brakes were power.

Guys it is not a SS, it's a Malabo which is in between a Malibu and a SS....I thought you guys were Chevelle experts? I also like that the enterer is black.
