Probably is a real SS. It's been sitting a long time and not that many people were cloning them back them.

Good price if it is an SS. It looks like it is from what I see. Looks like it had black stripes on it just below the rear window trim. Heck $4000 or offer and it runs, what a deal.

It was an option on 70, 71, and 72. Cowl hood, no flapper, was standard with SS all 3 years.

Hard to believe a car in that shape is a deal at 4k when I used to pick em up for less than a grand.Just goes to show how things have changed. If I could Id get it.From the looks of the engin bay may still have original engin.Only mod Id do is stroke it to 383 and install a b&m shift kit.The ac is an option I dont see too often on those either.Although the lack of power brakes makes me wonder. Was power disk brakes an option on the ss?My non ss 71 had non power drums and I had to convert it.

Supposedly all SS models from 69 on came with single piston front disc brakes. I would assume that all factory disc brakes were power.

Not a bad car at all in my opinion.
