My son is coming home.
David just finished talking to my son Matthew. Matthew lives in Texas and we usually get to see him once a year, in May during AKfest. Well we have talked Matt into coming home for a visit this weekend during the Woodward Dream Cruise. I guess telling him that he could drive David's Commando in the parade might have helped a little bit in convincing him.
Matthew is a character, he is so much fun to be around, and everyone will be so happy to see him. I can't wait til he gets here on Thursday. His plane lands at 4pm and I will be laughing, till my stomach hurts, not long after.

I will probably have him drive David's Jeep in the Parade on Friday night. It is supposed to be hot and humid and we line up starting at 5pm and the parade doesn't start till 6 or 6:30. Might be too much. Especially when he can stay at home in the air and at 7 walk one block from my house and see us in the parade.
