Has not posted any thing since 10/02/15. Seems like we are down to only 5 people posting these days. Other sites also seem way down also. Clubs for Chevelles seems to be losing interest also. The newer dodge car clubs in our area have large members now. I know one club here is around 1500.

I just taking a break at the moment. Doing actual work and family stuff.
And 10-4 on the cold. Even with the garage heated it is chilly down there.

A few days ago Ken sent me a message telling me that there was a post here asking where I have been. Well it has been a rough few months over here at the Ms Grumpy household.

As many of you know our parent site Audiokarma.org does a big fundraiser during the holidays called "Adopting families for the holidays". This usually starts about mid-October and runs thru the end of December. The members run auctions and every dollar raised goes to adopting families thru the Volunteers of America organization. As soon as money starts coming in I go online and read through thousands of stories and pick families in our area that I can take to the store and go shopping with. I purchase gift cards, meet them at a store and let the families know how much they have to spend and let them pick out gifts for their own families. It is a very rewarding experience getting to know the parents and listening to their stories about their children. I never judge anyone for their decisions and do my best to make them all feel comfortable. This year I put over 600 miles on my car just driving to meet the 30 families that Audiokarma adopted.

During this time we also received some news from husbands doctor that things are not improving with his health and we are dealing with the results of some tests.

After Christmas my 3rd oldest child, Lacie, was having some tingeling in the left side of her body. As the new year began it got worse and worse until it went from the top of her head to her foot on only the left side of her body. Now Lacie works 2 jobs to support herself and my granddaughter without receiving any help other than medical insurance for my granddaughter. Lacie had also made a bad decision 1 1/2 yrs ago and decided to drink and drive and got caught. We were all relieved that she was pulled over and did not hurt anyone but in the process she has been on probation, lost her license, had to attend 5 AA meetings a week and random drug test 4 times a month. For the past year and a half she has managed to do all of this without missing anything except one meeting with her probation officer because of Uber taking so long.

So back to the beginning of this year. I convinced Lacie to let me take her to the hospital. I dropped her off at the ER on a Monday afternoon, went and picked up my granddaughter and made sure she was taken care of for the night and headed back to the hospital. They did an CT, MRI, MRI scan with contrast and didn't find anything whick was good because they were able to rule out a stroke. But while she was at the hospital she started to develope numbness in her left side also and pain in her back. They scheduled an MRI and MRI with contrast for Tuesday. But they had to wait for 24 hours because of the MRI scan with contrast and they wanted all the time for the her body to clean itself of the contrast solution. They the the MRI and found lesions on her spine. On Tuesday night they admitted her and started her on steroids. Wednesday morning they did a lumbar puncture. The neurologist was looking to rule out certain things like Lime disease. But what they were looking for was certain proteins in her spinal fluid and they were also looking for proteins in her blood work. The results were not scheduled to be back for 3-5 days and during the next few days she developed numbness in her abdomen, pain all across her back, tingeling and numbness all down her left side and on her right side from her hip to her foot.

This was a really tough time for me, and I can't imagine what she was going thru. She did not want to take anything for pain until I told the doctors about her probation and how scared she was to take anything because she did not want to violate her probation and test positive for drugs. She was really scared that she would be in trouble for taking muscle relaxers and pain killers even though she could barely move because of the pain. On Saturday night the tests were back and Lacie was diagnosed with MS. She went home on Sunday afternoon. Monday morning we were at her probation officers office dropping off verification of her stay in the hospital and a copy of her medical prescriptions for pain.

It has been a few weeks and Lacie is having good an bad days but I am there to help support her and transport her to her job, doctor appointments, take my granddaughter to school and so much more.

Even with all this we also have taken the time to deliver over 500 gallons of water to Third Man Records in Detroit for their water drive for the people in Flint, Michigan. Again this was due to cash donations from the members on Audiokarma.org.

I hope that this may help you understand why I haven't posted for a while. I have been on an emotional roller coaster for the past 4 months. I am so hoping that spring is here soon because I need to get my car out of storage and just get behind the wheel and drive. No place in particular, just enjoy the time in my car and get away from all the craziness...at least for a while.

I miss you guys and I am back.......
