I would call it a Super Duty Beaumont and I would love to have one.

Is Obama requiring all Chevelles to be re-named?

It's technically a Pontiac, that looks a lot like a Chevelle. When we went to the show at Frankenmuth this year we saw one. It was parked close to Tony and Ric. I have some pics of it in my Frankenmuth album.

It is actually a cool looking car.

There was one right next to us in Frankenmuth this year and between, Tony, Hank and Ray we spend a lot of time talkimg to the owner who just a had it restored to factory specs. One of the things I thought about it is that the engine bay was the same color as the car. As soon as I get on my other computer I'l post them.

That's a Canadian Beaumont SD, Sports Deluxe. Debatable as to whether Beaumonts were a Canadian Pontiac model or a separate GM car line altogether.

The Sports Deluxe is along the line of the Chevelle SS. Came with with a 396 and other features of the SS. We parked right across from one at Frankenmuth Autofest this year. Very cool car, a few styling differences here and there that set it off from the Chevelle. Actually the styling is very nice and a little upscale from the Chevelle. Very rare car and probably worth a fortune. The one at Autofest, convertible, was absolutely perfect, looked like it just rolled off the line.

Lynda was talking to me too so I had to keep stopping. Took at least 10 minutes to type those few words, there were no replies when I started.
