Well, Saturday I took my Chevelle out on the road for the first time this year. I pulled the rear end out this past winter and had it rebuilt along with a gear change. I borrowed a friends set of 18" Intro Vista wheels for the weekend. He wants to sell them and let me try them out. What do you think?

Looks good but i'm not a fan of not having a decent sidewall on a tire. We just recently got a 2011 Camaro and although it does ride nice, It makes me cringe any time we hit a small pothole and you feel EVERYTHING in the road. They do stick nice on turns and really let you grip the road. It seems like they have a good amount of surface area on them. I'm just worried about a bent rim and most of them seem heavier than most stock tire/rim combos. You know the deal with unsprung weight and a heavier rotating mass. I wouldn't go bigger than 16's personally but they do look good. Beat him up on price since you already got em on your ride and run them! The nice thing about wheels is you can change them whenever you want.

Looks pretty good, but I think with those wheels, the car would need to be lowered a bit to look "right". Stance is key to pulling off the look with 17"+ wheels.

Thanks, last summer I installed 1.5" drop coils in the front, removed the air shocks from the rear and installed KYB gas adjust shocks at all 4 corners. The offsets are not quite right for my car. I borrowed these from a friend. He ordered them to fit a 64 Chevelle. The rears are 18x8's with I believe a 4.5" bs and the fronts are 18x7's w/a 4"bs. Tires are 245-40-18's and 235-40-18's respectively. If I was going to get some wheels for my car, I think I would go with either an 18x9 or 18x9.5 for the rear and 18x8's for the front. Not sure about tire size though.
