Milan Dragway May 23rd
I just got some info that on May 23, 2010, Milan Dragway in Milan Michigan, will host an event to remember Detroit Dragway. Detroit Dragway was a Dragway that was host to alot of the first NHRA events. Many of the drag racers tried to save the drag strip years ago, by trying to declare it a historical site, but to no avail.
So if you live in the area go out and see some of the long term employees from Detroit working at Milan to celebrate all the wonderful memories from many years ago. I have a love for Detroit Dragway partly because this is where I did my first drag race and mostly because this is the first place that I met Grumpy. This also might be the first place that I will have my Chevelle at. See ya there... Nancy
