That burnout reminds me of something. The very first Woodward Dream Cruise was not as commercial as it is now. The cops didn't expect the amount of people that came out and were a lot more forgiving.

Many of the business let the crowd use their hoses to put water into the street so that cars could do burnouts. We happened to be in front of one of those businesses and at the time my brother had a 1970 Nova that he had built for the strip. This thing ran low 11's and was not street legal at all. He decided to pull out in front of where we were sitting and do a burnout. He did the best burnout that I have ever seen. There was so much tire smoke that traffic stopped on both sides of the road because you couldn't see. The crowd was roaring and cheering. Now for those of you who have never been to the Woodward Dream Cruise, Woodward is a divided road with 4 lanes going North, 4 lanes going South and a large median in the middle.

So this video brought back an awesome memory.

He was probably choking on all the smoke and wanted revenge.

grumpy sure hates when I tell people this, but he got pulled over in my car .... by a bicycle cop. It was during the Woodward Dream Cruise and grumpy just couldn't resist the crowd and kept doing burnouts. Finally, a cop rode up on his bike and said "pull it over buddy". We had to wait for traffic to move before we could pull off onto a side street.

And people wonder why I don't let him drive my car.
