PayPal Sucks
I have been going round and round with PayPal and I just now closed my account for good. I recently bought a new crate motor from Jegs through Ebay and had to pay through PayPal as a guest .I used my credit card to pay in order to get an extra warranty through the credit card plus I didnt know I had an existing account from many years ago.My motor was delivered and a week later PayPal reversed the charges on my credit card and Jegs started sending me e mails wanting to be paid again.PayPal then took the funds out of my checking account and paid Jegs without telling me .PayPal denies doing any of this ,I certainly didnt do it ,but now that we all figured out what happened it wont happen again. Im just glad I had enough in the bank to cover that as I dont usually have it in there until I plan to use it.Hope this kind of crap dont happen to you guys.

Sorry to hear about your issues with Paypal. Although I do agree Paypal can be a royal pain in the butt, I use it extensively and honestly have never had any problems. My Paypal transactions come directly from my checking account. I'm wondering why you didn't purchase directly from Jegs thru their website?? Same pricing as their Ebay auctions.

Wow, I've never had a problem with Paypal. They don't have my checking account info, just the credit cards. I don't use it that much but some online places take Paypal and it's usually easier than filling in your info, name, address, credit card, etc.

this is why for big transactions i use this
https://www.escrow.com/support/faqs/...vTopic=Payment you pay a little and they help you with tracking and can't take the money out until the item is delivered

I will never use paypal again after my last incident. "Sold" my car, didn't receive payment. Filed a complaint right away. Never received payment, they closed the case and sent me a bill for the sale that didn't happen. They to this day feel I owe them money.
