Honestly...DON'T WORRY!!! It's a piece of cake.
I've got 4 stints...all in my chest...the 1st two installed over 10 yrs ago. Awake during the whole procedure...totally painless!! Watching it all on the overhead monitor.

And I get the nuclear stress test every two years.

Just be sure to take better care of yourself afterwards. My father had his first heart attack at 41. Bad genetics and his refusal to come to grips with his situation led to more procedures, eventually a transplant nearly eight years ago. I still find myself telling him to slow down, and not push - because no deadlines, no clock to punch. He's a stubborn old man (65) and a thorn in my side at times.

Have not been there, have not done that. So don't know anything about it, just wanted to say good luck.

Did the cat scan and dye thing last thursday....that was fun.
Wow when the dye comes it sure is a hot flash moment.
anyway im seing the doc on monday to hear the news..lol.
Funny thing is they only did the lower torso and not the whole body.
Perhaps hearing your heart pounding in your ears is no big deal.
anyway still working on the car.

I've had the dye for other X-rays, does give you a warm flush. What I had you could also taste it, tasted like onions. Good luck, hope all goes well and they get your plumbing cleaned out. If not, there's always Mr. Rooter.
