Found a someone here in the east. And they know exactly what they have. $$$$$$$ !
Don't know if mine can be restored, let alone trying to find the clips for them.
Thanks for the word.

which piece are we talking about here? the rubbber (or plastic or vinyl or whatever it is made of) piece that goes over the pinch weld and the edge of the headliner? if so, tell me where you find it too. that piece is missing on mine as well.

got any pics? mine was gutted when i bought it 25 years ago... just put it all back together with new paint/interior/frame off resto... that is one of the major pieces of the puzzle still missing. since no one carries them and mine were never there, i don't really know what the missing piece looks like.

i do metal fab for a living. is it something i could make?

ok, i understand now. I have the piece on the front. don't have the middle or rear. i also do not have the plastic part for the middle. guess i will have to start scouring the swap meets when i get back to the states this summer.

thanks.

sorry, shoulda been more clear on that one. the plastic part that covers the edge of the headliner and pinch weld along the top of the doors. I think it is called a windlace? kind of a u shaped plastic or vinyl channel. I have the ones that go vertically, but not over the top of the door. or should it be one piece and mine are just cut?

my bad... guess i should edit my sig. mine is a '65SS. Like i said, it was somewhat stripped when i got it, so i don't really know what should go in that spot. i guess i kinda hijacked this post. have not heard from the OP in a while.

so since there was no windlace there, i guess that would explian why i can't find one.

guess i will have to start searching for some interior pics to figure out what belongs up there.
