Taking a wild guess here. I think that the 68-69 would work. But I would also look at the 69-72.

Fact: Per NPD the heater box is a 1969 only and they do make repo of them but is a little pricey at $299, as for the seats I'm pretty sure they are all the same size from 68-72, the detail of the seats will be different.

A good place to go for references on new parts is www.nationalpartsdepot.com

Good luck.

Like Ric said, seat frames are the same 68-72. Don't recall if 68 bucket seats had the head rests, 69-72 definitely do. Seat covers will be little different each year.

Welcome to the site.

Non A/C heater boxes are interchangeable 68-72.

Ray,

If you look at page 111 of NPD they have a non ac heater box for 1969 only. It would make sense that they are all the same, but back then you never know.

IIRC, some or all 68 rear seats are different, they are narrower with bigger armrest bases, but that might have just been the ones with Buick interiors??? It's been about 10 years since I parted out a 68, so my memory might be a little shaky here... The one I parted did have the Buick interior, and the rear seat was different than mine.

68-69 are same but different upholstery patterns. The 70-72 if you notice has a shorter seat with a filler between the seat and rear door panels. Not saying a 70-72 seat won't fit in there or vice versa, but they are different!! Also 71-72 are the same seat upholstery but the 70 is a little different than the 71-72.

Sorry, he did say back seats. People are always asking about bucket seats and that's what I was thinking about.
