They'll probably have some craft tables there like they did when Pinks was there. That'll keep the girls busy. Beautiful day for a trip to the drag strip, don't forget the sunblock! Not much shade there.

So how was Milan? I got the dash pad in and cleaned up the Chevelle. It had 6 months of dust and dirt on it. Lynda and I followed Ray and his daughter over to Baker's this afternoon. What a turnout, we didn't get there until around 3:30 and had to park out in the lower 40 with the cows. Last year the number's were a little low all year long, last week and this week were really big numbers. Lot of cars we had never seen before.

Beautiful day, actually a little hot, not quite use to it yet. Supposed to be even warmer, close to 90, and no rain all week long.

We had fun. My son loved it ! Girls were only so so.

We got one run on the car, but had motor problems.

Thats great Dave. I hope your engine is fine though. I take my daughters quite a bit, they love it there. They like it much much more when daddy is racing, but they enjoy just watching everyone else as well. It helps that so many of our friends race, so they recognize many of the cars and drivers and get excited for them too.

I think that if "Mom" had been driving, then the girls would have been more into it. None of the kids knew what to expect, and Grumpy and I laid down the rules on the way to the track. So maybe the girls were just afraid of the wrath of mom.
