Default 70 chevelle th400 converter

hey guys me again, okay so i have a 79 355ci SBC with mild mods pushing around say 365hp backed by a 78 th400 i just got from a good buddy of mine. Now what would the stock stall for a th400? just trying to find a good stall speed a bit higher then stock for that little gain in launch speed. and one more thing , does anyone have a vid or pics on the removal and replacement of a valvebody on a th400? ive only been able to find them on like 40l60s

Man, I've got the perfect stall for you.
It's a TCI-241500A that was in my '67 for one month last fall when the Chevelle had a mild SB in it to move around until my 496 was completed.
Bet it doesn't have 200 miles on it...then was taken out and put back in it's original box.
I bought it brand new from Summit...it stalls about 2200...which is 400-500 rpm over stock.

I'll sell it for $135 shipped
