Default Big Day Ahead

Sunday is the big day for the start up of the engine. Motor is on the test stand and just about ready to be fired for the first time since the rebuild and the first time in over ten years since it was removed. I will video the big event.

Got a small delay today with the vibration dampner not lining up the lower pully correctly. May need to pull it and have it machined to line things up correctly. Almost ready to fire.

Came home early today and had to pick up some offset pins for the bellhousing to get the trans to line up correctly with the block. It was only .018 out of alignment but enough to cause some probems down the road. Plans are to fire it Sunday afternoon 8-22.
