Wow. I'd love to go on African safari sometime.
For now, I'll settle on going to southern Indiana each year. Got two farms that have let me deer hunt for free for 15 seasons straight now.
Those farmers like me for some reason.

Those pictures are pretty cool. My sons got a real kick out of seeing the perspective of Randy next to the animals. That warthog is a sight.

It is awesome hunting! Thanks Dave for posting my pics. Yessir, pic #5 in the first post is the Impala. When you stalk a herd of animals for a couple of hours and the decision of which to take of the 300, it's hard to breathe!!! There are so many species there. I saw 26 different species in one day. From rhino to ostrich! What a hunter's paradise. Honored to be able to do it. Can't wait for July 2011 to get here.

I was in Africa (Uganda to be exact) a few years ago and had the opportunity to go on a safari however no guns were involved (much to my disappointment). It still was a trip of a lifetime and I saw animals in their natural surroundings that I had only read about or seen on tv. Very cool. Especially when the guide told us there was a lion nearby. How did he know...his response -> Just look at all the Kob (small deer like animals) - do you see anything unusual? They all (thousands of them) were staring in the same direction. Sure enough, a male lion was hiding in the grass. VERY COOL!!!

Cool. My boys will be happy. They have asked me to look at those pics like a hundred times now...and keep asking "what's THAT one, Daddy?"
