Default TURBOa 350

i just picked up a 350 with 480hp. i was wondering if my turbo350 trans will hold up. I dont plan on racing it, but every once and a while im going to stomp on it. kno what i mean? im guessing the tranny is stock i Kno theres a 2500 stall. should i start looking for a different tranny? What should i look for? i have the opprtunity to get a 4L80E. Are they any good? do they work with carburated motors? should i keep looking for other trannies?

If you're not racing it and don't have slicks that will hook up you should be ok. They say an M20 won't hold up behind a 454 but I beat on mine all the time. Drive it and have fun.
