Default Over heating problem solved

Been chasing this problem for 10 years now.....well it was getting hot back before i parked it for 9 years.
Anyway its a 454 truck motor. I first replaced the thermal clutch and it helped but didn't fix it so i decided to replace the performance 5 inch March pulley with a 7 inch pulley ( I even drove to Jegs and picked it up ) and that helped as well but didn't solve the problem. So i've had this Afco radiator for ten years and wasn't going to use it till i had the motor redone but i decided to go ahead and put it in and it solved the problem.

I guess my old tired 3 row just wasn't up to the job. Now she hits 180 and no further....i love it. Its nice to cruise around and not have to keep checking the temp gauge.

Gary,

I went through this same thing in my jeep. Sometimes its best to do just as you and replace the thing. Glad the problem is solved.
