Default Sad day tomorrow....

My dream job is coming to an end,and lost a good chunk of my life savings to boot.As many of you know,I bought in to a 32 year old dealership that I worked at for 5 years being the managing partner last year.I cant really go into detail now because of legal issues, but we are shutting it down tomorrow.I have been working without pay since December trying to figure out a way to salvage it,but my attorney said not to put any more money in it.My people weren't employees, but friends and it was rough telling them.Crap, now I have to get a real job.

Wow, I'm really sorry to hear that. You're a good salesman, you'll be okay. I know it won't be the same but it'll work out.

Yeppers another example of the economic mess this country is in. GS I lost at least a mil in California real estate this past few years but I guess you can't lose something you never had ... but your situation has gotta hurt, ouch!

Gary,

I was hoping this would turn around for you. So sorry to hear that it shook out this way. This is bad news, a door is closing on you, before you wanted it to, but don't forget...another one will open. It happened for you a few years back, it will happen again. Keep your chin up, the way you take care of your customers, good things are coming your way ten fold, buddy. Crack a cold one and go work on the black car, it is going to be alright, my friend.

Gary,
Jake could not have said it better. You are going to make it, and along the way we will all be here to hear of your successes.

You are a valuable resource and I am sure that you have people out there that would love to have you work for and with them.

Sorry to hear. As bad as it seems, everything happens for a reason. Like was said before. New doors will open. Best of luck. Keep us posted. It could be worse, you could be as broke as me!

Wow, Gary sorry to hear about all this. I know you struggled in making a decision on what to do a year ago. Some of the most successful people in the world have failed and got back up on the horse and have gone on to bigger and better things. I have a feeling you will succeed in what every you decided to do. Good luck.

When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one that has been opened for us.
