Have fun Gary. Sounds like you are looking forward to the trip. I am glad that I didn't hear of any damage for you during the past rounds of storms and tornados.

Gary ,one day I would love to go there . About 15 years ago Joan and I along with her parents were in Pennsylvania during the fall and we passed by one of the huge auto shows/swap meets and me and her dad were itching to go but her mom was having none of it and we didnt get to go. Her dad loved old cars ,trucks and tractors but we never were able to get him to any shows .My mother-in-law didnt understand then or now what we saw in old toys.

I don't think that my mom understands either. Even though my dad was a mechanic and loved to work on cars, or maybe because he did.

I, we, cleaned out the crawl space under the family room yesterday. It's turned into a storage area for excess stuff. Talk about fun! Today I pulled the washer and dryer out in the basement. Cleaned behind them and cleaned out the dryer vent pipes. I straightened out the rear bumper on the motorhome and painted it earlier this week. I'm getting a lot done now that I'm unemployed, not fun stuff but I it needs to get done.

Gary, hopefully you took a camera, or will at least post here this weekend. We want to hear about all the goodies you came across.

Oops, forgot a camera. Did not get to the main field today, went straight to the auction. There were some good deals to be had tonight on certain vehicles.A couple that stick out was one of the first Prowlers built with 2k miles sold for$20.5k and a beautiful red and white '55 Ford Country Squire wagon that sold for $10.5k On the flip side a poor 70SS454 clone, and I mean it was sad did $13,5k.I figured it for $7k tops.I can't wait till we get to the car corral tomorrow.
