Just got back from HD. Guy in line in front of me in garden department bought a stack of landscape timbers. When I get outside I see him shoving them through the moon roof of his Focus hatchback, down into the front passenger foot area. Yea, we don't need no pickup truck, we got us a Ford Focus.

Pickup trucks, heck no, that's why they make convertibles.

About 12 years ago grumpy and I were at the local A & W on a cruise night. We were talking about the extra parts we had for my car. One of the items happened to be an original SS bumper. Since we were not going to use it we wanted to get it out of the garage. One of the cruisers said "I'll take it" so we told him to swing by, we lived right around the corner, and he said he would be by later.
About an hour later here comes this guy in his beautiful 57 Chevy Convertible. And he proceeds to put this bumper (which had been sitting on the floor in my garage for over a year)..and he puts it right into the backseat of his car. Didn't wipe it off or even put anything under it. It was no big deal to him. It still amazes me the things people will do to transport items.

I brought home an extra 72 rear bumper from the Peachstate Chevelle Show in Joans convertible just a couple weeks ago. We used to go garage saleing in Joans old Chrysler Sebring convertible and you would be amazed at the things we hauled in it.
