so i usually go to these cruise nights by me but this summer i have been so busy i have only gone out about 3 times. so i went out lastnight and a few guys asked me what have i been up to this winter and spring with the car. i told them i have been working on my rx7's suspension and i told them about my chevelle that i bought. and man i never seen so many guys tell me i should of never bought it...lol man they told me i should of gotten a nova because chevelles are a dime a dozen and so on so forth. i laughed because i looked around and i saw 1 chevelle and about 7 novas. i told them well hey look i see one 70 chevelle sitting here and i see about 5 novas just in this row alone. and they told me so many things i just laughed and told them look i like my chevelle so far and i will not get a nova because i see them everywhere...lol just thought it was funny enough to share

Shaun every car has it's lovers and haters. I think that it is up to you to make your Chevelle something special so it stands alone. I went to a show today and saw so many Mustangs, at least 10-15. Do I remember anyone of them, no, none of them stood out. Just take what people say with a grain of salt.
I always told my kids that people make fun of them or give them a hard time....because they are jealous. I think that is what you have going on.

I love Nova's ,my first car at 15 years old was a 69 Nova but I prefer Chevelles over a Nova . There are more Chevelles around my area than Nova's but I like them all.I even like the Rustangs and everything in between .I also think Chevelles hold their values better unless you find a Nova SS .

My bank acount, or lack there of tells me Chevelle's are not a dime a dozen.
Albuquerque is a pretty large city and I see maybe one or two Chevelle's around here, same goes for Nova's. What I see the most of is Camaro's, and Mustangs. To each his own, gotta take what most people say with a grain of salt and laugh it off.

More Chevelles around here than Novas. I don't care, I like my Chevelle. I didn't buy for anyone else, just me. I would like a nice Nova with a big block in it though.

Not many Novas around here, but there's a lot of Chevelles... Novas are cool, but they don't have the room a Chevelle has. I wouldn't be able to haul my wife & 2 kids in car-seats nearly as easily in a Nova.
I like all the muscle-era Chevys. I have Chevelles, my brothers both have Impalas, and my Dad has a '68 Camaro. (no Novas, but they're the same size inside as a Camaro). I wouldn't trade my Chevelle for any of the others. The Chevelle has plenty of room, but it's not a boat either... perfect size for a nice family cruiser.
