Not what you think either Gary,
Got the car trailer out this morning and while I was moving it my wife noticed a noise coming from one of it wheels. After pulling the front left hub off the rear bearing was toast and so I pulled the back hub off and found that the wheel bearing was also going out. It had no brake pads left on the shoes. Glad my wife heard the noise I was on my way to pick up about 4000 lbs of roofing for the beach house. Glad I didn't have all the roofing on it and headed down to the beach, it probably would have not made it. Guess it's time to redo all the wheel bearing and brakes. Since it also needs a new deck I might as well paint it and put new tires on it before I put the chevelle back on it. Been about 5 years since I had done anything to the trailer.

Ray many men don't give a second thought when a woman "hears a noise". I am really glad that you did. I hope you gave her a great big hug for saving you lots of money.

You are lucky. Fixing that kind of stuff on the side of the road is not fun.
