Default Haven't been around much.....

This could be another "Oh crap" story.

The shop picked up immediately after Christmas and I've been super busy. (good and bad thing) Being a one man show, the work doesn't get done unless I do it. We had a week of great weather so I hit it hard to try and catch up. Two loads of scrap metal went out. (about 4,000 pounds or so) Fabbed a pick up truck bed trailer for a guy, did some sign fab work for the same guy with the trailer, resurrected two trucks for another guy that had them sitting broken on his property for years. etc, etc, etc.

A few days ago I came in and my right elbow hurt like someone stuck an ice pick through it. I took some ibuprofen and called it a day. I was ok for a couple days and started to get after it even harder. Again, my elbow hurt like crazy. I was getting a shower and noticed I have a bone sticking out about 1/4" further than my left elbow. It's also sensitive to the touch. I showed my wife and she thinks I tore the tendon in my elbow.

So now that business finally picked up, I have to shut down for a while and get my arm fixed. ......that figures. At least I got caught up on bills from the holidays. I even got a couple real bites on the Nova and 'Vette. If they sell, we should be just dandy for while. (and I can finish the Chevelle, too!)

Sorry to hear about the elbow, could just be the sleeve around the tendon. Don't know what's it's called buts it's basically like a bulge in tire. The fluid, lube, around the tendon, inside the sleeve, bulges out there. I have one on the tendon of my right thumb. Don't know if it happens with the elbow but if so it's not serious and can be drained to relieve the pain. Like I said don't know if it can happen there but we'll hope for that since it's minor. Anyway good luck with it, hope it doesn't knock you out of commission for long.

Glad business picked up, hope you had a nice Christmas.
