Just signed up. New guy from Nor Cal. Short history...my first car was a 64 chevelle SS, four speed, 12 bolt, 327, primer gray. This was 1976. Dummy that I was I sold it. Found it two years ago but the guy backed out of a sale. So I looked around and found a 64 chevelle malibu. Not my old SS but I like it. It has a 350, auto, posi. Currently pushing nearly 400 hp, but I plan on taming it a bit to make it more daily driver friendly. Will soon be looking to completely redo the interior and get new paint. Recommendations for a shop who does quality work near the SF bay area appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome Slim to the site. Not from SF so I can't help you there, but do look forward to seeing some pictures also.

Welcome to the site, Vince! I did the opposite. I had a '64 Malibu back in the day and found an SS to replace it.
Keep us posted on the progress.
