The worlds fastest as of a couple months ago, with heavy mods runs 10.6 in the quarter. Bone stock they are a 10.9 car with a really good driver. Most are seeing closer to the 11.00 or 11.1 range with them.

Only if you don't mind paying the insurance and the look the cops give you at every stop light. Fast but too flashy for me. They have a yellow one in Reno for 68k but no takers.

That must be a Z06, the ZR1's are upwards of $125,000

I thought it was a ZR1 but I could be wrong; it's been on the lot for awhile.

Did it have the carbon fiber hood with the clear plastic insert to see the engine? If so it was a ZR1 or at least had a ZR1 hood on it. If you found a ZR1 for $68,000 you need to buy it and resell it, thats a hell of a deal for one. That or the guys buying them are really realy taking it in the shorts, which is pretty typical for newer vettes it seems.

Seems Car and Driver tested the 09 ZR1 and there best quarter mile run was an 11.3. I dont know how C&D typically does against others testing.

Ray and I talked to an older guy at Baker's last summer. He was driving his son's ZR1. We talked to him for quite awhile and he raved about the car. Performance, handling, comfort. Said he drove it on a long trip and it was like sitting at home in your recliner. It is quite a car, you need to see it up close.
