Hey Tony, are you affected by the issues with the Flint water system? I hope not, sounds like there's some nasty stuff in the water there.
I didn't think about it before. They were just talking about it on the news and Lynda asked if you were on that system. |

Flint was getting water from the Detroit water system. It's a huge system the serves a lot of southeast MI. The water comes from Lake Huron and the Detroit River and is pretty decent water. The way the system is run, well Tony said it all. That has changed since they've formed a regional board to run the system.
Anyway, Flint started sucking water from the Flint river to save money. The claims are the nasty Flint river water is leaching lead from pipes and everyone in Flint will be dead in a year, maybe two. So they switched back to Detroit water until a new system that draws water from Lake Huron is completed. You can google it, it's been on the national news. |

The water here is what's been wrong with me for 50 years. Who do I sue? Oh wait, maybe it's all the lead paint chips that I used to eat. Yeah, that's the ticket, sue the painter, the store he bought it from, and the manufacturer. No wait, I forgot what I was thinking about. Is this Tuesday?
That whole water deal has been WAY overblown. I sure would like to see some "poor black kids" lead-level tests from a decade ago. There won't be shit for differences since the switch from Detroit water. We have been getting raped by DPW for years. We pay for all the lazy bastards that are on the payroll. Even the dead ones. We pay to subsidize the "poor folks" that refuse to pay their bill, pay for the ridiculous retirements for the ....ahh nevermid. The lead content has always been there. Especially in the homes that have copper water distribution systems. There are no "lead service pipes" left anywhere near here. A good friend was the Supervisor for the Flint Water Dept a while back. He has the real deal info, but the news people don't want to hear it. They want headlines that scream "Snyder is KILLING the poor folks in Flint"!!!!! |

You live in Fenton, actually Tyrone Twp. Didn't think Flint water would affect you, does it?
Always wondered what made you so "special". So no real change? Water has always been shitty? Glad I have a well and septic. |

I was just curious as I used to install water and sewer mains in the Metro Atlanta area and northward .Saw some nasty stuff with the old lines sometimes ,asbestos pipe tie ins ,lead joints in old cast iron pipes ,solid lead header pipes feeding into new lines.

Ric, I have my old well hooked up in the shop and City water for the house. We are still on Detriot system here. I cayght a little shot of the whore Hillary spouting off about the water deal in Flint. She said something to the effect of "we are killing the black children". The fact checkers could have a field day with that, but they will let the pig get away with saying it.
