Post New Here

But not to chevelles/el caminos. Rick here from Abilene TX. I'm retired USAF and currently working as an electronic tech for the USPS. I've owned my el camino for 20 or 21 years (my how time flies). I bought it stock (350 2bbl/350) with approx 48k on it. Drove it that way for 3 or 4 years and then started fixing things (that weren't broke) to my liking. Currently it has a TPI 350/700r4 in it.

A little over a year ago, I pulled the motor & front clip to replace the tranny and one thing led to another. Its been mostly sitting in that time but I am starting to find time for it again.

Like Grumpy, I met my wife at the drag strip. i was working there & she came to the races with a co-worker and left with me That was 1967, we've been married 41 years come November.

I'm not an expert on anything, but give me a book & internet connection and I'm not afraid to tackle anything........so I may be looking for some of you to bail me out . And I'll help when I can. Thanx for having me

Rick,

Gary is being to hard on himself, but he is expert on Beanie Babies and if there is anything you want to know about them...he is your guy. Also, I think he said he had a extensive Barbie and Ken collection as well.

Welcome Rick.

I echo Grandsport, in saying Thank You for fighting to keep us free. I will look forward to hearing your stories, and seeing the pics of you cars.

I knew you'd want pics: 72 El Camino There are 4 "good" pics there and several others in various stages of "undress". Thanx all for the warm welcome.
