Do you have the inner fenders installed yet? If not, that diagram shows the one going from the body mount to the frame rail. The one you have installed is on which side?

On 70 one goes to the frame and fire wall, the other two go to the valve covers on each side of the motor. The dimples in the fire wall have a purpose on where things are attached on the car. Not all cars got the ground straps.

Should be a hole in the frame down by the starter by the firewall, strap goes from the frame to the lower part of the firewall, and the other strap goes to the passenger side valve cover just like on the driver side. The straps were only used because of old radio's to keep the noise away from them mostly.

Look in the lower right side of this photo and you can see the strap

Thanks for the info guys. Im not trying to get a factory correct look. Just want my electrical system grounded properly. That being said. If I ground the block/valve covers on both sides to the firewall and run another ground from frame to firewall, would that be enough grounds to everything needed?
Ray it looks like your frame to firewall is on the left looking at the photo, is that right?

Three should be fine, some cars only got one. Like Ray mentioned, some cars got extra based on what radio they were equipped with. My car has an am/fm 8 track.

Ground strap is on the right side of the car inside of the rail to firewall. When the inner fender well is installed you do not see it.
