Our daughter's 00 Bonneville had a loud whine coming from the passenger side. It turned out to be the "Hub/Bearing assy. I decided to just take it someplace and get it fixed as I didn't want to mess with it. I know if I tried to fix it, it would turn into a total PITA and I don't have the time. Have fun Hank!

Replaced the hub, noise gone, all is good.
