Special meaning for me. The day recognises the sacrifice of the women that provided the donuts to the American troops on the front lines since WW-one.

These ladies were the only round-eyed women I saw for thirteen miserable months .... thank you ma'am!

Oh man!!! I could go for a pair of peanut cake donuts from Bill's in Syracuse RIGHT NOW!!! They are plain cake donuts, glazed, then dredged in "glaze", then crushed peanuts. OOohhhhhhhh!!!!
