I'm one of the sponsors for our church festival car show, but it wasn't the same this year as Maureen wasn't able to go or help out as usual. It is no fun going without her,so I stayed home and helped out around the house. I guess I got rewarded for staying home as a storm came out of nowhere. As a few of my friends know,if my car got wet underneath I would be a basket case.

Sounds like you lucked out with the rain. I just got home from the car show at the Balloon festival today. They said about 200 cars didn't show up today, Great weather finally about 80 today. Hopefully Maureen will be able to join you soon. You made the right choice staying with your wife.

Maureen knows what you did for her today. She sees the sacrifices that you are making for her. I am sorry you missed your car show, but I think you did the right thing. Family is the most important thing, the Chevelle will understand.

This is the first weekend in recent months that I havent driven the Vert or El Camino at all. Just too hot and humid to get into it. I did change the oil and rotate the tires trying to get her ready for our trip to Oregon in a few weeks.
