Default New here - have many questions...

What would be the engine suffix letters for a 70 El Camino 55 454 LS5 with a M-21 trans?

Any idea on how many where made?

Hi Fred,

Didn't think that was a possible combination. Thought the only trans with a 70 454 was either TH400 or M22.

Not 100% sure, but I think it would be CRT (LS-5 w/Manual Trans). I believe Hank is right about that combo. Both 454's had around 500 lb/ft of torque and I don't think Chevy wanted to warranty the installation of a TH350 or M21 with either engine. But I could be wrong.
