Default Craigslist Rant

I found a truck locally I was interested in ,it was posted yesterday for sale .I called about it this morning and the owner said yes it was available and told me more about it. I told him I would like to come see it today if possible and he said he would call me when he got back from church and set a time .About 5 hours later I called and left him a voice mail message that I would still like to come see the truck ,left him both numbers again .I have yet to hear from him .I was hoping to drive the truck today and buy it tomorrow if it was as he said it was ,Rant over.

I hear what you are saying John, People put adds on there all the time and then don't follow through. I have been trying to see a car trailer for a week now can't seem to meet up with the guy.

I was looking at a 1988 Mazda ,low miles ,nice truck from what I could tell by the pics .I bought a new 88 Mazda truck way back when and it was one of the best ,if not the best truck I ever owned .I totaled it with 210,000 miles on it in 1995 .I need a daily driver until my 72 Chevy truck comes home from the bodyshop if it ever does. My 96 Ford Explorer isnt going to last much longer so Im looking for a cheap replacement. If this one doesnt work out I will find something else.

Craigslist is for cheapskates... I use it all the time.

I have bought and sold quite a few things on Craigslist, but things really have to be priced way under market-value to sell. As a buyer, I'm looking for bargains. As a seller, I'm just looking to get rid of stuff, and not expecting to get rich off it.
