Carb or Vacuum issue?

I got my car running a few weeks ago and since then I haven't been able to get it to idle right. The initial timing is set right around 12° and total is about 34°. The motor runs smooth in the upper RPM range untill it gets down about 1100-1200 RPM them it just pretty much just sputters and quits. The carb ran fine on the motor before I started the project, and after I got it running few weeks ago it wasn't right so I rebuilt the carb and everything seemed just fine with it. Well I messed with it again tonight and was able to look down in the carb this time with a light and there is hardly any fuel coming out the venturis. The cam is supposed to pull 15in/hg at 800RPM. I check tonight around the intake gasket and carb base with brake clean and it didn't idle up any. I just ordered a vacuum gauge so it should be here friday and I can see how much it's actually pulling. Check out the video and let me know if you have any other thoughts?

Looks like the carb isn't atomizing the fuel at all. It just coming out in drops. I would add some Lucas fuel injector cleaner to a tank. Something is gumming up the venturis so it isn't working right. I know it is injector cleaner but it will work in a carb to.
The gas you see coming out should look like a mist.

I'll give that a try but I just rebuilt this thing within the last two weeks and cleaned ever port and passage. I soaked the carb body overnight with all the jets in the basket. You could see light through them all. If it didn't have enough vacuum would it cause the same thing?

From the video it sounds fine vacuum wise. If it is a cam vacuum issue they lope real bad. I trying to find a video comparing a good spray pattern to a bad one.

Here is a injector video. First injector to the left is the best. The 5th on looks like your carb is doing.

Check your fuel level....it may be to high.
When you first shut off the engine do the boosters still drip fuel.

Yeah, mine looks nothing like it's supposed to. I have a friend of mine that is letting me use the carb off his chevelle to try out. If his works I'll tear into mine again and make sure a piece of dirt or something didn't get into it. If I don't find anything I'll just get a new one.

Are you talking about the float level? I checked them as per the instructions and they were dead on. I haven't check to see if fuel still drips out after it shuts off.
I'll check next time I run it.

Well I definitely figured out this evening that my issue is the carburetor. Used a friend of mine carb and it was a amazing the difference it made. Posted a short clip of it running better in my build thread. Thanks for your help and suggestions.
