Default Attention Michigan members!!

I have spoken to a number of the phone answering guys at the Reps on this commitee. All say they have had very few calls and emails on the Bill. The Chairperson has had only 3 phone calls. How about you all make some calls and shoot off some emails.

What happened to all the Mich guys? I figured this would be kind of important.

I read it and looked up the info to email or call, still have it up in another window. I just didn't reply to your post. Guess I should have and I'll be making some phone calls Monday morning. Thanks for posting Tony.

MI gov is always looking for ways to put a tax on a minority group. That way the majority don't complain and it slides through. Problem is eventually you're going to be one of those minorities, unless of course you don't eat, drink, drive a car, or breath too much air. Pretty much if you stay locked in your bedroom all day you're somewhat safe.

Hey Hank...How are things going in Fla? I hope all is well. I will be down there towards the end of the month. My Brother is building his new house. I have to do all the ground work for his plumbing. I've been refreshing myself on the B.O.C.A. plumbing code. Man, I've forgotten a lot in the last 20 or so years!

It's going, that's about all I can say. Very difficult living in someone else's house. That plus my mom wants to slip back to her old ways of doing as little as possible all day. Told my sister she better start looking for a new place to live. They can't afford this place without my mom's money and she's going to end up in a nursing home.

So when you coming down Tony? Maybe we'll pass each other and can get together for dinner. We'll be here 2 more weeks, if I can stand it that long.

Hang in there Hank. I imagine it gets frustrating at times, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do. I'm not sure when I'm coming down. He has the footings in now. Waiting for backfill and compacting the sand. When that is done, he has 21 days to pour the slab. I have to get everything done in that 21 days, so it's up in the air as of now. You'd think that with no building going on to speak of, things would be getting done a lot faster, but they tend to move reeeeeealllll slow down there.

We had a cottage near Caseville in the thumb. The only business those guys get is from the people with cottages, second homes but they were the same way. We bought a double-wide and put it on a cement block foundation. I told the guy doing the foundation when the home was going to show up. He went hunting in the U.P. that week and left me hanging. I raised hell with his daughter and she got the guys to lay the blocks. Then when it was time to install the steel I-Beams the farmer that cut and welded the beams couldn't deliver them because he was busy harvesting his crops. They have very little business but if the fish are biting they were fishing, to hell with making money. Oh well, to each his own I guess.
